THE RECALL

Repairs Needed

We have been recalled because there is a malfunction. We hear about vehicles being recalled because there is a problem that needs to be fixed. The maker informs us that this particular make and model needs fixing. Something isn’t working the way it was designed to.

Well God has issued a recall on mankind. He has told us to check in with Jesus to get a heart replacement; to receive the Holy Spirit who will change our desires, open our eyes, lead and guide us. We will no longer live life blind. We can say “I once was blind but now I see. I am a new and improved version of my former self”. The first step in getting the fix from this recall is to admit that there is a problem. When we come to Jesus admitting that we are a sinner in need of saving, He is able to forgive us of all our sins and make us a child of God.

When we ignore the recall on a vehicle, we run the risk of having that vehicle perform in a defective way. The problem, if left unfixed, can lead to many negative occurrences. Today, if you have not brought your body in for an upgrade, if you have not been properly equipped to live life, get right with God by accepting Jesus as your Lord and Savior.
