Hebrews 10:23 23 Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful.
Sometimes when we are standing on a promise of God, we need to be mindful of who we share our belief with. Not everyone will agree with what you are believing for. Some will doubt that God will give you what you say He will. Faith is not something that can be explained, in the natural, as it is the substance of things hoped for the evidence of things not seen. While God has given you the assurance of His ability to fulfill His promise concerning you; He may not, and does not, have to give it to others.
I can think of many times when God made me a promise that was so far from the reality of what I was experiencing, that it took faith and the knowledge that the Holy Spirit had spoken to me, to make me believe it. Yet, in every instance, the promise was fulfilled at the time needed.
Sometimes when we are walking in radical faith, we need to keep it to ourselves. Just as Mary kept the things the angel had told her to herself. Luke 2:19 but Mary kept all these things in her heart and thought about them often.
Here is another radical thought, not everyone wants to see you being blessed. This is sad but true. If you are the type who are genuinely glad when someone is blessed, it may not occur to you that not everyone thinks as you do.
Believe God and know that there is nothing impossible with Him. His promises to us are yea and amen. He is not a man that He should lie. Though the promise may tarry, wait for it. In due season, it will be fulfilled.
