I was thinking this morning about the Covid pandemic which Joe Biden just announced is over. This, of course, does not mean that a person cannot get it, it does mean that the scourge of the pandemic is over.
I recall when God gave me visions concerning just how severe the pandemic was going to be. He told me to stock up on food, beyond what I would normally purchase. He showed me bodies in refrigerated trucks. I remember my concern for others and myself regarding getting the Covid virus. Many opted not to get the vaccine; I never felt led of the Lord to tell people to get the vaccine, I decided, however, to get it myself.
I believe, when the virus first appeared, I caught it. At the time, I did not know what I had, but I knew it was going to be more severe than any flu I had experienced before, if it progressed. I prayed and in my minds eye, I saw God remove something that looked like an octopus from my body. After this, the symptoms, receded.
I recall watching tv and seeing the count of how many people were infected with the virus and how many had died. Restaurants were closed, schools were closed, more people started working from home. During this time, I purchased a picture for my bedroom. It was a picture of a person on a swing looking up into heaven. This picture came to symbolize what the country was going thru. Today, it is a reminder to me of just how much God has brought us through.
I think it is only fitting for us to take a minute to thank God for delivering us and the world from this virus. There was a time when it seemed there would be no stopping it. However, we see that there is nothing too hard for God to do.
Thank you, Lord, for your deliverance from this perilous time.
