Jeremiah 29:11 11 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.
God cares about our future. He also does not want us to feel hopeless. We should always stand in faith, believing that better days are ahead.
I Heard Joel Osteen share about a man that applied for a job and not hearing back in a week, he thought he was not going to get it. Three weeks later, the company called to tell him that not only did he get the job but instead of a 10% increase in pay, he would be receiving a 30% increase in pay. Praise the Lord!
I thought about my son’s recent similar experience. After being turned down by many companies because of not having any work experience in cyber-security, he was hired by a company that is paying him twice what he was making before. In addition, they are giving him on-the-job training in cyber-security while paying him. This was not a job that he applied for directly; he was sent as a candidate for one of 10 available positions by another agency. He found the agency that referred him, seemingly by chance. However, we know that God orchestrates circumstances to fulfill His will.
When we pray about things and trust God’s will, it gives Him the ability to give us the best outcome. He also takes our heart’s desires into consideration, as He promises to give us the desires of our hearts.
God is truly our loving heavenly Father. The more we live in His will, the better our lives will become.
