The greatest tragedy would be for us to reject Jesus who died for us. John 15:13 (NKJV) “Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one’s life for his friends.” A righteous God laid down His life for you. He created you then gave His life for you, so that where He is there you may be also. That is how lovable you are. He has numbered the very hairs of your head (Luke 12:7). He says I will never leave you nor forsake you (Hebrews 13:5). God says when you walk through the fires you will not be burned (Isaiah 43:2). He says He will give us His joy (John 15:11) “For the Father Himself loves you, because you loved Me and have believed that I came forth from God.” (John 16:27).
Jesus said He is going to prepare a place for us, so that where He is there we may be also (John 14:2-3). Think about that, the righteous all knowing, powerful God. The one who knows you inside and out, wants you to spend eternity with Him. He has counted you worthy to live in His presence. We, the church, are to be His bride (2 Corinthians 11:2).
God will wipe away all tears. There will be no more suffering; no more death; no more evil. We will know Jesus as much as He knows us. 1 Corinthians 13:12 “For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.”
You are very lovable.
