Have you ever been rejected? Has anyone ever told you that you are not attractive enough, smart enough, young enough, fun enough? Well, someone thinks you are very desirable. He is the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords. He is the creator and sustainer of the universe. The one who created everything in the beginning, loves you and thinks you are special.
In fact, you are betrothed to him. The church is the spiritual bride of Christ. Isaiah 54:5: “For your Maker is your husband, the Lord of hosts is his name; and the Holy One of Israel is your Redeemer, the God of the whole earth he is called.” Revelation 19:7: “Let us rejoice and exult and give him the glory, for the marriage of the Lamb has come, and his Bride has made herself ready;”
He loves you with a perfect, unconditional love. His love for you will never be diminished. It is an everlasting love. Don’t let anyone make you feel inferior. In Christ, you can do all things.
When we view the world from a spiritual perspective, based on the bible, we have clarity, and we understand much more than those who are unsaved. We have hope for the future, no matter what is going on in the world. We learn to look for good to come out of all our circumstances. For the bible tells us that all things work together for good to them that love the Lord (Romans 8:28).
So, if there are people who do not wish to have a “relationship” with you; people who you know have no real basis for rejecting you. It could be that God is keeping you from being negatively influenced by them. As long as your heart is not convicting you concerning your behavior towards them, pray for them and go on with your life. There are people who will dislike you just because you exist 😊
Social media has allowed hateful people to lash out anonymously towards others. We have to develop a thick skin when dealing with the world. Some people get satisfaction from hurting others. If you allow them to hurt you, then their mission is accomplished. The bible tells us to pray for those who despitefully use us and persecute us. Pray for them and forgive them, so they will not be able to impact your life negatively.
You are the light of the world when you are enlightened and have the Holy Spirit. Don’t let those who live in darkness cause you to dim your light.
